Global Produce Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Maki Mitsuhata), which produces over 200 large-scale business events annually, announces its role in handling venue construction and technical production for the experiential indoor event 'Tabekko Doubutsu MIRAI LAB. ~Kirarium of Falling Stars~', planned and operated by TWIN PLANET Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter 'Twin Planet').
About 'Tabekko Doubutsu MIRAI LAB. ~Kirarium of Falling Stars~'
'Tabekko Doubutsu LAND', an indoor event allowing visitors to experience the world of Glico's long-selling biscuit 'Tabekko Doubutsu', has attracted over 320,000 visitors since its debut in 2023. The fifth edition, titled 'Tabekko Doubutsu MIRAI LAB. ~Kirarium of Falling Stars~', offers a new experience combining stars, light, and digital effects.
The main attraction, 'Kirarium of Falling Stars', features a massive circular LED display approximately 10 meters in diameter and 30 meters in circumference, combined with mirror balls and laser lighting to create a fantastical space resembling falling stars. A ball pit is installed beneath the LED screen, allowing visitors to enter and enjoy photo opportunities.
Another highlight is the loop-style experience design linked to an exclusive web app available only at the venue. Visitors collect 'Star Fragments' by touring different areas and send their completed stars to the Kirarium, receiving one random 'MIRAI Ticket' out of nine types (while supplies last).
Global Produce's Scope of Work
For this event, Global Produce was responsible for venue construction and technical production, including:
- Artistic construction of the entire venue (entrance gate, photo spots, food and merchandise areas) - Construction of the 'Kirarium of Falling Stars' space using a circular LED display (~10m diameter, ~30m circumference) and circular truss - Laser effects at the entrance area - Installation of projection systems (immersive effects, Future Theater, photo spot effects) - Technical development of the sensor-linked interactive content 'Tabekko Doubutsu Starry Sky Touch' - Construction of blacklight effect zones - Installation of venue-wide audio systems - Power planning and electrical work for the entire venue - Coordination of production and technical partners, and technical direction
Key Aspects of the Project
1. Integration of Diverse Technical Elements into a Unified Theme
Multiple distinct technical elements—circular LED, lasers, projections, sensor-linked interactivity, and blacklight effects—were seamlessly integrated into the single theme of 'Kirarium of Falling Stars'. The experience preserves the IP's original world while being intuitively enjoyable for children and adults alike.
2. Design Supporting an 80-Day Long-Term Run
As a long-term event welcoming the public for approximately 80 days, equipment was selected to withstand daily opening and closing operations. An operational manual was also developed, enabling on-site staff to handle equipment setup and troubleshooting. This project exemplifies the application of Global Produce's extensive technical and construction expertise—honed through over 200 annual business events—to large-scale B2C IP events.
Comment from the Project Lead
Shiga Masafumi, Producer, Global Produce Co., Ltd.
"Our challenge was to explore how deeply we could bring the beloved 'Tabekko Doubutsu' IP world to life using light and visual technology. While circular LED and interactive effects are technical tools, our top priority was creating a space that would elicit 'Wow!' reactions from children and families visiting the venue. We hope this starry space becomes a cherished summer memory."

Global Produce: Delivering Happiness Worldwide Through Large-Scale Business Events
Global Produce Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive event production group with the vision of 'delivering happiness worldwide through event production'. The company produces over 200 large-scale business events annually, shaping important corporate moments—such as anniversary celebrations and employee recognition ceremonies—into memorable experiences.
Our strength lies in 'production power'—a unified approach from concept to execution that transforms client aspirations into tangible results. This is built on three pillars: 'Leadership Approach', 'Production Capability', and 'Team Strength'.
The 'Leadership Approach' means we do not simply fulfill client requests. From the initial consultation phase, we uncover unspoken needs, visualizing event objectives, target audiences, and expected outcomes. We don't just accompany clients—we lead projects with intent, ensuring the purpose remains clear from planning to execution.
'Production Capability' is the ability to translate visualized goals into experiences participants can feel. We embed concepts and themes into space, visuals, and event flow, crafting a cohesive storyline from opening to closing. By designing the emotional arc of the event, we turn messages into memorable experiences.
'Team Strength' supports all of this. By assembling teams of internal and external professionals and sharing knowledge organization-wide—not relying on individual experience—we consistently deliver over 200 large-scale projects annually while maintaining quality.
Committed to 'Japan-originated, globally applicable event production', we continue to stand by companies at their pivotal moments.
