Participant satisfaction 98%. Supporting the first 1,000-person-scale event where public and private sectors meet, through networking features and screening process design.

<About 'Publink Summit for JAPAN 2026 SPRING'>

'Publink Summit for JAPAN 2026 SPRING' is a screening-based public-private co-creation conference first held by Publink Inc., a public-private co-creation venture, on May 16, 2026. It was planned as a gathering of approximately 1,000 key persons from national government, local governments, and companies, with the Cabinet Office, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as supporters, and Project K (a young professionals group creating a new Kasumigaseki) as co-organizer. A message of support from Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae was read aloud on the day, and Minister in charge of Japan's Growth Strategy, Jonouchi Minoru, appeared at the opening. Sessions covered a wide range of themes including AI and national growth strategy, human resources strategy, venture business, and regional revitalization. Of 972 applicants, 808 attended.

Effects of introducing EventHub

Recorded 808 attendees out of 972 applicants (attendance rate 83.1%). Messages sent through the networking feature reached 1,636, creating new encounters between public and private sectors.

From screening pass/fail management to sending acceptance notifications with QR codes, all operations were completed on a single sheet, enabling the management of a 1,000-person-scale event with a team of six (two of whom joined one month before the event).

For the 'Co-creation Pitch' questionnaire, since responses are automatically linked to participant information based on email addresses, it was no longer necessary for listeners to re-enter personal information each time speakers changed. Responses to the co-creation form totaled 531 across 19 sessions (average 28 per session).

Participant satisfaction was 98% (sum of 'very satisfied' and 'satisfied'). This led to co-creation consultations from multiple companies, and the 2027 event has also been decided.

Case Study Interview

In the case study article, we interviewed Executive Officer Yuki Sakagami, who oversaw the project, about how they managed the first large-scale conference with a small team. He specifically describes the screening operation, where participant data was exported daily, pass/fail was judged in two stages, and filtered by pass flags to send notifications with QR codes, as well as the day-of operations that smoothed the congested reception with QR codes.

It also touches on how they combined venue devices such as the 'bureaucrat snack' placed at the entrance and profile panels at the co-creation booth with photos and 'what they want to co-create and with whom' written on them, with online networking features. It also mentions the effect that the mere existence of EventHub's networking feature conveyed to participants the concept that 'this event values networking.'
