'Rave Again' Artwork

A new track titled 'Rave Again' by Idiot Pop and Kasane Teto will be digitally released on Friday, August 28, 2026.

The track draws inspiration from early 90s Japanese rave culture and the vibrant dance music symbolized by clubs like Juliana's Tokyo. With its driving four-on-the-floor beat and energetic synth sounds, it reconstructs the euphoric atmosphere of dance floors from that era into a contemporary electronic sound.

The vocals feature Synthesizer V's 'Kasane Teto'. Set against a neon-lit night-time dance floor, the song portrays a world where reality and fantasy intersect, expressing the act of freeing oneself and stepping boldly into the future. The repeated chorus line 'Ride this wave, don't fall behind' is not a nostalgic look back, but a message urging listeners to fully embrace and charge through the present moment.

'Rave Again' fuses respect for the 90s, Idiot Pop's signature modern dance music, and Kasane Teto's crystal-clear vocals. This new rave anthem speaks to both longtime club music fans and listeners of Vocaloid and Synthesizer V, marking a fresh milestone in electronic pop.

The lyric video will also premiere on August 28 (Friday) at 7:00 PM.

● Idiot Pop Profile

Idiot Pop spent their formative years during the 90s, a golden era when TK revolutionized pop music through dance beats. Deeply inspired by TK's innovative music and lifestyle, Idiot Pop continues a techno-geek quest to relentlessly pursue 'the sound ahead of its time'.

In 2009, they self-released their first album with a limited run of 1,000 copies. Despite being unknown, it sold out within just one month, generating buzz. Since then, they have consistently released genre-crossing works centered around 'pop'. Their catchy, accessible sound has gained support across platforms and has been featured in numerous official playlists on Apple Music and Spotify. In recent years, they have composed music for commercials, including campaigns featuring Nogizaka, UNIQLO, and KIRIN. They have also produced and provided songs for a wide range of artists and projects, including former Tsunku Factory member Yume no Kishimoto, Up Up Girls (2), and Ikebukuro Denonbu. A one-of-a-kind electropop producer where pop meets fiction, nostalgia meets future, and the city pulses with sound.
